Carlisle Flame Check has been designed to provide a fast,
accurate, quality control indicator for surface treatment
levels on flamed Polyolefin products. By immersing the
product into a container filled with Flame Check and
seeing how much of the Flame Check recedes from the
surface, you can determine the approximate level of
surface treatment.
Since there are different applications that require
different levels of surface treatment, there are two levels
of strength flame check offered by Carlisle. The first,
which is known as Flame Check # 1, is red. It will confirm
a moderate surface treatment up to a 45 dyne level. This
level of surface treatment is suitable for most labeling
operations. The second type, which is known as Flame
Check # 2, is green. It will confirm a severe surface
treatment up to a 70 dyne level.
Flame Check is only sold by the case. One case of Flame
Check consists of 12 bottles. Each bottle contains 16 fl.
oz.
